The adidas World of Sport is extending – We put a face to the change process. Adidas STAGE 5, Architecture Competition. Using experimental typography and outstanding design, we’ve been appealing to architectural firms all over the world to contribute their concepts for the expansion of the adidas campus in Herzogenaurach. The naming for »adidas MyArena« as well as a design concept for the overall change process of the adidas group was developed during this project.

The medium is the message. The brochure range developed by EIGA forms part of the accompanying material and provides information about objectives, brand values and the planned construction sections. The colour code and the unique font designs give each section – the office building, conference building and green spaces – their own look within the range.
Type becomes image. Each of the experimental font designs always combines two elements relevant to the brand and the construction plans, e.g. motion (sport) and architecture (buildings), flow (modern working) and static (spatial plan), organic (outdoor spaces) and orientation (route layout).
