Porcelain has been made in Germany for 300 years. Many people use it on a daily basis as crockery or for decoration. And yet only a few know anything about the material or the industry in Germany which manufactures it. For the 300th anniversary, EIGA developed a website containing a wealth of information on the topic.
In addition to the obligatory but intriguingly presented history and a barometer of porcelain trends, visitors will find an interesting and unusual feature: porcelain typology. Here users can discover their favourite styles, create proposals for products and contact manufacturers directly.
